November 12-16, 2014

Napa Valley Film Festival showcases the best in new independent filmmaking and world cinema. Our vision is to build community around the art of visual story-telling, with the viewing of films and discussions with filmmakers fueling lively conversation amongst old and new friends … and those conversations being enriched with the world-class food and wine of legendary Napa Valley. The Napa Valley Film Festival takes place on the second full weekend of November each year. This period represents mid-fall and the tail end of Napa Valley’s gorgeous harvest season. The festival runs from Wednesday evening through Sunday night – what we like to refer to as an extended weekend, the best kind. The Schedule

Thank you for taking a peek at our plans for the fourth annual Napa Valley Film Festival. As a 2014 Festival passholder, you are in for a truly magical and transformative film, food and wine experience this November. Our Festival is fueled by our collective instincts for hospitality and a spirit of discovery. Each year we seek out films that reveal something about the human condition, hopefully something positive. We will announce films in September, with our full schedule and lineup available by October.

Villages & Venues

This is where the ‘magic’ happens. These are the unique venues in Napa, Yountville, St. Helena and Calistoga where we’ll showcase our films. From turn of the last century art house theaters to state-of-the-art facilities to speakeasy lounges, our screening venues are sure to elicit ‘oohs and ahs’ too.

Films & Filmmakers

Once again, the Festival will screen over 100 films, from feature to short length, and in narrative and documentary form. Our popular animated short film competition is generously sponsored by Amazon Web Services and Intel.

A Catalyst for Conversation. Let’s get digital. Interact with friends, family, and the entire Napa Valley Film Festival community, by instagraming and tweeting your favorite pics. If you have any on your phone from last year, share your experience with us by using the hashtag: #NVFF13. Otherwise, get ready to switch over to #NVFF14 in the coming months.

Food & Wine

Feeding thousands of film buffs and wine lovers takes a lot of work, and a lot of good taste. What better way to accompany conversation about the riveting films

Special Events

NVFF offers one of a kind events leading up to and during the film festival, to make your experience even more extraordinary. From exclusive receptions and sneak preview screenings, to our massive Festival Gala night, and just about everything in between. Details will be announced throughout the year.
